Unraveling the Myth: Debunking Common Misconceptions in Health Coaching




"Health coaching is the guarantee for success, and health coaches have the answer to everything in the field of health."

Often, I come across with this misconception that health coaching has all the answers and is the key to success for a fulfilling life and vibrant health.

And yes, I agree that it is an essential tool in my work as a healthcare professional.

But I also want to tell you that no health coach or healthcare professional has all the answers. After all, all the answers you need are always within you. You just need someone to provide you support and education to feel empowered to take the best decisions in your health.

A health coach is a facilitator of behavioural change who helps you make sustainable and long-term changes to your health and well-being, such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, and lifestyle habits, which you may not be able to achieve on your own or it is too difficult to make change by yourself.

To succeed in your health goals, you need to follow the non-magical recipe for success: commitment, effort, and time.

And that's something that no healthcare professional or health coach can do for you.

You are responsible for your own health and your own choices each day.

The choices you make today will determine your tomorrow.
