3 Tips for a Healthy Environment in your home : reducing toxin exposure


The environment of your home can affect your health!

You may have already noticed the enormous amount of toxins that surround you and are harmful to your health.

Endocrine disruptors are natural or chemical substances that can affect the health of your hormones, your endocrine system. As a result can lead to a variety of health problems.

These can be found in plastic containers, cleaning products, kitchen utensils, among others.

I share with you 3 tips for a healthy environment in your home that can help you to reduce toxin exposure:



1. Ventilate your home


Open windows regularly to remove indoor pollutants (e.g.: humidity) and to increase air circulation .


2. Choose non-toxic cleaning products


Avoid products containing chemicals such as : ammonia, chlorine and synthetic fragrances. Consider natural cleaning products like vinegar, baking soda and lemon juice.


3. Choose non-toxic cookware and food storage


Choose cookware such as stainless steel, cast iron or glass. Avoid storing food in plastic recipients, opt for stainless steel or glass recipients.
